Coordinate coaches

-Arrange Clinics and Certification Clinics (BCSA, and other), and have the willingness and capability of working with these outside sources.

            -Help recruit coaches

-Communicate policy, procedure, and other information on a regular basis with all coaches ensuring their are no issues. Be the Hub of Coach Information.

-report monthly to the Board on coaching clinics, programs and community

-Disseminate information from BCSA to coaches.

Provide A Yearly Coaching Program          

            i.e. BCSA Grass Roots Program

            Teach coaches how to use and follow the program, primarily U7-U13 divisions.

Provide a U15 program

Create a fraternity of coaches, providing regular support by means of

            -Newsletters, e-mail, web page

            -Facilitate regular coach meetings, particularly at startup and end of season.

            -Facilitate a DVD lending library of coaching resources

-Establish a solid Coach Community which all parent coach Volunteers feel well supported.

Provide regular technical support on field at practices/games

            -Promote learning and understanding of the game as it relates to each level

Qualifications

            -Minimum Soccer CCY and CCS

            -Have a full understanding of the game of Soccer

            -have coached for a minimum of 5 years at various levels

            -Willing to work toward Instructors certification with support from NYSA

            -Have a full understanding of NYSA
