GAME ON! All practices/games will resume as of September 7th for U6 – U17. To see your fall game schedule go to www.nys.ca, Schedules & Standings and select your division. U12 to U17, your play off schedule is posted.
U14 Boys note: Blue Marble Capital vs. Poulin Wed. Sept 8.
U12 & U17 Girls note: All teams have a game Thursday Sept. 9
U17 Boys note: All teams will practice 4:45 – 5:45 Thursday Sept. 9, Coaches be ready!
ALL others note: first games back – Saturday, Sept. 11.
U10&12 and U14&17 Awards Banquets Fabulous Italian Feast. Wed. Oct. 6th. U10&12 first sitting, U14 & U17 second sitting. Check for exact start times posted on our web closer to the date. Tickets for the banquets will be available through your Team Banquet Coordinator. They must be purchased by Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, 2:00pm. Price is $15/plate. All Team Managers must hand in money and # of tickets sold by Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, 6:00pm.
All Coaches that have not already done so, Please send your Team Banquet Coordinator’s name and e-mail to nys@nys.ca this week. (State what team)
Our Administrator will be handing out Tickets to U10-U17 teams first week back this fall. You will be receiving more information from your Team Banquet Coordinator.
AGM. Wed. Oct. 13
th, 7:00 pm at the Best Western on Baker. The AGM is your opportunity to help shape NYSA’s future. Last year’s AGM minutes are posted on our Web under About NYSA. This year’s AGM Agenda will be posted on our web shortly. If you have an item you would like on the Agenda, please submit it to
nys@nys.ca as soon as possible. Last year we were at risk of losing our Government Gaming Grant because the Auditor simply sees a poorly attended AGM’s as a disinterested, inactive club. Hardly the case in NYSA! The plea went out last year and our membership stepped up to the plate. This year again, we need you, and your input at our AGM.
